Welcome to Beisbol Total!

Why Beisbol Total?

Baseball is the number one sport in our world. It is the diamond game in more ways than one! What better way of paying homage to our favourite sport than dedicating a website to it?

With this in mind we'd like to say welcome sports fans - and indeed non-sports fans - to this website dedicated to the field of dreams. This site is dedicated to all the pitchers, batters, fielders and catchers (but not the coaches who try to ruin our game with their negative ballpark tactics). Most importantly of all though, this site is for you, the baseball fans and spectators. 

Unlike other sites devoted to baseball, this one is a little leftfield. We don't feel the need to discus Babe Ruth's batting averages or whether Lou Gehrig's sabermetrical statistics stand up to Mark McGwire's - you can find them elsewhere.

We're interested in the hypothetical, the quirky, the fun and even the normal. We can't promise we'll cover all bases but we'll do what we can to make this site the most unique possible. You may think of this site as a little hit or miss so you have any more ideas contact us!

You may be interested in how we came up with the name 'Beisbol Total'. We chose the word 'Beisbol' as when we were younger we had a friend who for what ever reason thought 'baseball' should be written 'beisbol'. It made us laugh so much that we still call baseball 'beisbol' as part of a larger joke.

The 'total' part of the title is a homage to the philosophy we have about how baseball (or should that be 'beisbol'!!) should be played. To understand what we mean, you should read on to discover more.
